The data controller responsible for the personal data collected through the Celerink application is:
Celerink is a voice dictation application for macOS. Its design is based on an offline-first principle: all audio transcription and translation are performed locally on your device by embedded artificial intelligence models. No audio recordings, no transcriptions, and no dictated content are ever sent to our servers or to third parties.
The application does not have user accounts. Your identity is not known to us during normal use of the application.

The following data is stored on your device only, in ~/Library/Application Support/celerink/. It is never transmitted to our servers:
history.json): transcribed texts, optional translations, timestamps, duration, model used.statistics.json): word counts, session durations, estimated time savings.settings.json): keyboard shortcuts, language, audio preferences, text replacements.During the initial installation of AI models, the application makes anonymous HTTP requests to HuggingFace's distribution servers. No personal data is transmitted during these downloads.

Use of your microphone requires explicit authorization from the macOS system (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone). This authorization can be withdrawn at any time in system preferences.

We commit to responding within one (1) month of receiving your request. For complex requests, this period may be extended by two (2) additional months, with prior notification.

Celerink is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@celerink.com.
The Celerink application (macOS desktop software) does not use cookies. The celerink.com website may use functional cookies necessary for its operation. No advertising or profiling cookies are used.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you via the application or by email (if you have made a purchase). The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. Continued use of the application after notification constitutes acceptance of the changes.
